Parents Council

At Fenit National School, we are proud to have a vibrant and active Parents’ Council made up of parents and guardians of children enrolled in the school. The council is led by an elected committee that meets every four to six weeks during term time.
Our Parents’ Council works in close partnership with the Principal, the Board of Management, and the wider school community to support the educational experience and wellbeing of all our children. We aim to represent the views and interests of parents, and to create opportunities for families to actively contribute to school life.
We support a wide range of school activities and events, including:
Fun and seasonal events such as Bake Sales, Movie Nights, and the Christmas Family Fun Quiz.
School celebrations and ceremonies, including Christmas concerts, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
Fundraising initiatives that help enhance school facilities and resources.
All parents are welcome to attend—there’s no pressure or long-term commitment. Whether you can lend a hand occasionally or have ideas to share, your involvement is always appreciated. It’s a great way to meet other parents, stay connected with school life, and make a meaningful contribution to your child’s school experience.
