The 2026 Fenit Coastal Cycle will take place on Saturday, March 21st 2026.

Fenit Coastal Cycle

Fenit Coastal Cycle celebrated its 12th year on Saturday 22nd March 2025. The annual event attracts almost 500 participants from across Munster and beyond, raising much needed funds for our school. The Fenit Coastal Cycle also makes a donation to a local charity every year. In 2025 €1,000 was presented to Kerry Cancer Group Health Link Transport.

Our next cycle will take place on Saturday 21st March 2026 with rolling starts, commencing at 10am. Described as a “fun and challenging cycle”, our cycling event is open to clubs, groups and individuals. Cyclists have a choice of a 60km or 25km, a 10km for the younger cyclist and even a 1km for the kiddies on the Fenit Greenway. This event is an ideal opportunity for cyclists to start their preparation for the Ring of Kerry Cycle and other upcoming cycling events. The routes have been chosen to highlight the spectacular surroundings of Fenit, Ardfert, Ballyheigue, Kerryhead and Barrow, with stunning views of Mount Brandon, Tralee and the Shannon Estuary and the beautiful Fenit Greenway. There will be safety management, roadside assistance, support vehicles, and light food and refreshments at St. Brendan’s National school Fenit for all cyclists.

Over the past few years all cyclists participating on the day were entered into a draw to win a fabulous prize of a €1000 voucher for O’Sullivan Cycles Killarney and Listowel.

Registration for the 2026 cycle will be open closer to the time.
